Following last month’s iPhone 15 event (Wonderlust), Apple announced an October launch event with a Halloween-esque name – “Scary Fast”. Depending on your location, the streaming event is billed for October 30, 2023 (5PM PT/8PM ET) which is very late in Africa, Europe, and the UK (12AM GMT/1AM GMT +1).

Australians and New Zealanders will be able to catch the event from11AM AEST/12PM AEDT/1PM NZDT.

There are various avenues to watch Apple’s Scary Fast October event, starting with the company’s official website. The events page has a direct link to stream the event live. There is also a placeholder link on YouTube which goes live once the event starts. Apple TV users can also catch the event through the TV app.

Various sources including Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman expects the company to release new MAC accessories, products, and Apple Silicon (M3). He predicts the focus would be on three new chips (the M3, M3 Pro and M3 Max) with 3nm production technology, powering a new range of products including a new MacBook Pro (14-inch and 16-inch) and iMac.

Before the end of 2024, Apple is expected to refresh its 4th-gen AirPods with USB-C, Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), updated design and case; and new AirPods Max with USB-C and new colour options. The AirPods Pro will reportedly get a new chip and updated design in 2025.
