The Xbox Cloud Gaming platform is now powered by custom Xbox Series X hardware, which means gamers are playing directly from Xbox hardware in a Microsoft datacenter. Games are earmarked to be streaming at 1080p and up to 60 frames-per-second (fps) to guarantee the lowest latency and high-quality experience. The platform relies on upgraded datacenters around the world for faster load times and improved frame rates.

Cloud gaming plays seamlessly across all compatible devices, whether it is a PC or mobile device. Gamers can pickup from where they left off, connect with other players, and play through the Xbox network. This can be done with a compatible Xbox Wireless Controller, supported controllers and mobile gaming accessories and the recent touch control option enabled for more than 50 games.

As mentioned earlier, Xbox Cloud Gaming is available in South Korea and 21 other countries in both Europe and North America. It is expected to expand into Australia, Brazil, Japan, and Mexico this year. To get started on an iPhone or iPad, simply visit Xbox.com/Play from a mobile browser (Chrome, Microsoft Edge or Safari) and login (or signup for ) the Game Pass Ultimate membership.
