Time to Walk Added to Apple Fitness+ to Deliver Audio Walking Experience

Apple has added a new feature, called Time to Walk to the workout app on Apple Watch. This feature, now available to Apple Fitness+, will deliver an inspiring audio walking experience to subscribers in form of recorded episodes (stories, photos, and music) from influential and interesting people. Apple Watch customers who use a wheelchair, gets the feature as Time to Push and get Outdoor Wheelchair Walk Pace workout.

The Time to Walk feature will start out with four episodes from the following popular figures: Country music star Dolly Parton, NBA player Draymond Green, Musician Shawn Mendes, and Emmy Award winner Uzo Aduba. All the guests will share personal stories, life-shaping moments, as well as lessons learnt and memories, which were recorded while they were walking or in other meaningful locations.

Apple mentioned there would relevant photos relating to the stories on the Apple Watch and short curated playlist of songs for motivations and inspiration during walking. All episodes from different guests will be available automatically to Fitness+ subscribers on the Apple Watch through the workout app on Apple Watch and the Fitness+ tab in the Fitness app on iPhone. New episodes (ranging from 25 to 40 minutes) will be available every Monday through the end of April 2021.
