The Sonos Roam connects to paired devices via both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi; and works with more than 100 streaming services including Apple Music and Sonos Radio. It supports Bluetooth streaming and can be controlled via the Sonos app, Apple Airplay 2, and voice control (Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant).  The all-new Sound Swap feature allows the user move music from room-to-room by pressing and holding the play/pause button to switch from speaker to speaker.

Also, the Automatic Trueplay feature is now available via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi streaming. Alongside USB-C (up to 15W), the speaker charges via custom magnetic wireless charger (sold separately) and any Qi-wireless charger. It is also IP67-certified (dustproof and waterproof) and has physical buttons as well as silicone end caps for protection against bumps or drops.

Sonos made a point to reveal the packaging is made up of sustainably sourced paper, minimal ink usage and no single-use plastics. The Roam speaker is available in Lunar White and Shadow Black colours.
