Designed by Huish Outdoors in collaboration with Apple, the Oceanic+ app collects metrics at up to 40m 0r 130ft depth and comes with a companion iPhone app. It shows metrics such as water temperature, no-decompression (No Deco) time, diver’s current depth, and more. Features such as dive planner help with deducing no-decompression time – the time limit to remain at a certain depth in water –, providing up to date information and post-dive data.

Oceanic+ is marketed as a good replacement for the dive computer.

The app also taps into the watch’s haptic feedback to buzz users, when necessary, irrespective of the conditions underwater. Other metrics and settings available with the app’s features include no-fly time, surface time, dive settings, current elevation, and maximum elevation allowed.
