Earlier rumours by popular Apple analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo suggested that the company was working on a budget-friendly iPhone with an updated processor and 5G connectivity. There are chances that the device would retain its’ predecessor’s 4.7-inch LCD display, single camera unit and at launch, it would be priced lower than the iPhone 12 mini, making it one of the most affordable 5G iPhone around.

The first-generation iPhone SE had the build of the iPhone 5S and specs of the iPhone 6S (A11 Bionic) while the 2nd-gen iPhone SE (iPhone SE 2) takes its form from iPhone 8 and shares its specs with the iPhone 11 series (A13 Bionic). Judging from history, the iPhone SE 3 would most likely share its specs with the iPhone 12 series (A14 Bionic) and take the build of an older model.

We expect more details to be revealed in due course. Until then, are you interested in Apple releasing a new iPhone SE model?
