Improved Note Taking

The Notes app update arriving on iPadOS 15 will capture mentions and allow users tag one another. Users will be able to capture information quickly by creating Quick Notes within any app by swiping from the corner of the screen and hiding it by swiping the same way. This functionality is limited to iPads with Apple Pencil, however, they can be viewed on macOS and iOS.

Multitasking

On the top of every app, there will be an onscreen multitasking menu to select Full Screen, Split View or Slide Over View while the Shelf feature sits at the bottom showing a preview of open apps in a dock-like arrangement. Apps shown in the Shelf can be dragged on top another to form split view.

Others

iPadOS 15 will also deliver auto or system-wide translation, Swift PlayGrounds to allow users learn to code and build apps in iPhone and iPad.
