iOS 16.0.2 Fixes iPhone 14 Pro Camera Shaking Issue

Apple has swiftly released iOS 16.0.2 to address the camera shaking issue on select models of the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max. The company confirmed to Bloomberg it was aware of the bug issue, where the camera app appears to be violently shaking when filming with third-party apps such as Instagram, Snapchat, or TikTok. Using the normal iPhone camera app appears to be okay.

Available for iPhone 8 and later, the new software update addresses the camera shaking issue on the iPhone 14 Pro models, display going blank during device setup, and eliminates the increasingly annoying “Allow paste” notification prompt across different apps. The update confirms bug fixes and security updates for the following:

Camera may vibrate and cause blurry photos when shooting with some third-party apps on iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.

Display may appear completely black during device setup.

Copy and paste between apps may cause a permission prompt to appear more than expected.

VoiceOver may be unavailable after rebooting.

Addresses an issue where touch input was unresponsive on some iPhone X, iPhone XR and iPhone 11 displays after being serviced.

To update to iOS 16.0.2, go to Settings > General, then tap Software Update. Click on Download and Install to go through with Installation. In Australia, he iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max are now available from AU$ 1,749 and AU$1,899 respectively from the Apple store. They are also available from carriers such as Optus, Telstra and Vodafone as well as retailers such as JB Hi-Fi, Amazon Australia, Kogan, Harvey Norman and Officeworks.
