In ‘Low Power Mode on iOS’, the iPhone’s battery is not only conserved and preserved, but also features such as mail fetching, ‘Hey Siri’ activation, automatic downloads, and other background activities including app refresh has been paused. Also, the phone’s screen automatically locks after 30 seconds of idleness, regardless of prior settings, and 5G connectivity is also affected too.

Once the battery drops to 20%, the user is prompted to activate Low Power Mode and if this is ignored, the same prompt returns when the battery drops to 10%. When activated, this feature disappears when the battery is charged to 80%. However, it can be activated at any point and will only get deactivated when the phone charges to 100%.
