FreeForm is a new creative tool for sharing and collaboration on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. The digital canvas lets up to 100 different users work with items such as images, files, text, audio, video, PDFs, shapes (up to 700 of them) and more within the same working area. It offers unlimited shared space for creativity, iCloud storage and collaboration over FaceTime call.

The iPhone and iPad cameras can be used to scan images or documents directly to the board. Users on these devices can also draw on the board with their fingers or use the Apple Pencil on the iPad. There are built-in alignment guides to keep the board organized and FaceTime calls can be initiated within the app to collaborate with others.

Whether used for a standalone or group project, FreeForm boards are synced across iPhone, iPad, and Mac, and taps into the collaboration features built into Messages. For example, a simple drag of a board into a message thread invites all the recipients to collaborate and activity update is posted within the same thread. Users can also invite collaborators via email or link.
