This week, Apple released new updates across the software platforms powering its hardware devices. The line-up includes iOS 15.2 and iPadOS 15.2 for compatible iPhones and iPads; macOS Monterey 12.1 for compatible Macs; watchOS 8.3 for compatible Apple Watch, and tvOS 15.2 for Apple TV models. HomePod and HomePod mini also get the HomePod 15.2.

watchOS 8.3 delivers Apple Music Voice Plan and support for the App Privacy Report as well as a fix for the notification issue interrupting the user while using the mindfulness app. Users in China with supported watch models can now use the ECG feature. The update, which also brings several security fixes, is compatible with the Apple Watch Series 3 and later models.

To get the update manually on Apple Watch (models with watchOS 6 and later), navigate to Settings and tap General > Software Update. To get the same update manually via the iPhone, open the Watch app, select My Watch tab > Tap General > Software Update. It is recommended that the watch’s battery is at least 50%, plugged into a power source and connected to Wi-Fi.
tvOS 15.2
Like iOS 15.2 and iPadOS 15.2, tvOS 15.2 introduces the new Apple store tab in the TV app and new Siri-powered Apple Music Voice Plan. There is also support for additional Siri languages, new screen savers and new Memories experience for Photos. As always, there are under-the-hood bug fixes, stability, and performance improvements.

Those with ‘Automatically Update or Update Automatically’ turned on will get the updates when it is ready. For manual update, navigate to Settings > System > Software Updates and select Update Software on Apple TV 4K or Apple TV HD or go to Settings > General > Software Updates and select Update Software (Apple TV 3rd Gen).
HomePod 15.2
The arrival of iOS 15.2 also signified that of HomePod 15.2. It delivers support for Siri voice recognition in new languages, Apple Music Voice Plan and a number of changes to the Home app. It also includes also includes bug fixes and both performance and stability improvements.
