Apple Releases iOS 14.4, iPadOS 14.4, watchOS 7.3

Apple has announced the release of iOS 14.4, iPadOS 14.4 and watchOS 7.3 to the public. All the software updates are available for free to download on eligible devices in the settings app. To access the update, navigate to the settings app, choose General and select Software Update.

iOS 14.4 and iPadOS 14.4

According to Apple, the fourth major update to the iOS 14 will include recognition for smaller QR codes by the camera, option to classify types of Bluetooth device in settings and notifications regarding verification as a genuine camera on the new iPhone 12 5G phones. Bug fixes include keyboard lag, incorrect language in Messages, HDR photography in the iPhone 12 Pro and more.

Similarly, the new iPadOS will allow the cameras recognize smaller QR codes and get the option to classify Bluetooth devices in settings as well as bug fixes relating to keyboard lag and Messages.

watchOS 7.3

The third major update to the watchOS 7 operating system arrived alongside the new iOS 14.4. It delivers ‘Time to Walk’ feature to Apple Fitness+ subscribers, Unity Watch Face inspired by the colors of the Pan-African Flag, ECG functionality to four more countries – Japan, Mayotte, Philippines, and Thailand, and irregular heart rhythm notifications to aforementioned countries and Taiwan. It also includes bug fixes related to unresponsive Control Center and Notification Center.
