Apple Unveil iMac with M1 SoC, New Vibrant Colours

One of the prominent announcements at Apple’s Spring Loaded 2021 event is the all-compact, new iMac with M1 SoC and new vibrant spring colours including Blue, Green, Pink, Purple, Silver and Yellow. The iMac join the likes of the Macbook Air, Mac mini, and 13-inch MacBook Pro in the family of Mac models powered by Apple Silicon (M1).

The 11.5mm thin iMac sports a 24-inch 4.5K Retina display with 11.3 million pixels, 500 nits of peak brightness, and over a billion colors, 1080p FaceTime HD camera, six-speaker sound system, studio quality mics and Touch ID on the iMac for secure logins and purchases with Apple Pay. It enjoys the benefits of the M1 and macOS Big Sur such as faster app logins, and 4K video editing.

The device also feature four USB-C ports, including two Thunderbolt ports and a woven, colour matching cable and power connector that attaches magnetically. Customers can choose from three color-matching Magic Keyboard models, Magic Mouse, and Magic Trackpad.
