Apple Fall 2021 Events – New iPhones, AirPods, Macs, and More Expected

Apple has a knack for releasing new products just in time for the holiday seasons and this year would be no different, according to Bloomberg’s tech journalist, Mark Gurman. The company is expected to hold multiple virtual fall 2021 events in the coming months to announce the launch of the new iPhones (iPhone 12s or iPhone 13), new AirPods, Macs, and several other products.

The new iPhones would most likely retain the form factor of the iPhone 12 but would arrive earlier than their predecessors. They are expected to have smaller display notch, better cameras capabilities including three new functions and faster processing speed courtesy of the upcoming Apple A15 Bionic chip. The widely anticipated 120Hz ProMotion display technology is a possibility (Pro models only) and Always-On screen mode for all models.

Other products expected include the Watch Series 7 with more health-focused features; refreshed entry-level AirPods with AirPods Pro design; refreshed iPad Mini with larger display and M1X-powered MacBook Pro (14-inch and 16-inch). The new M1X MacBook Pro is expected to arrive in time for the second anniversary of the Intel-powered 16-inch MacBook Pro

Looking back at the end of 2020, the company used three end-of-the-year events to announce the current iPhone 12/12 Pro line-up with 5G, HomePod mini speaker, iPad Air/8th-Gen iPad and Apple Watch 6/Watch SE. Others include the New Macs with M1 chip (Macbook Air, Mac Mini & 13-inch Macbook Pro) and new subscription services – Apple One and Apple Fitness+. These events were held in September, October, and November.
