Apple Business Essentials – Here Is How It Works

Apple has announced an all-new service to help small business owners with up to 500 employees manage all the Apple devices and products used by people in their employ. The subscription-based service, called Apple Business Essentials, will provide mobile device management (from setup to backup), 24/7 support and iCloud Storage to iPhones, iPads, and Macs used for business purpose.

Now available as a free Beta for small business in the US, Apple Business Essentials will be fully available in Spring 2022. Pricing starts at US$ 2.99 for a single device plus 50GB of storage and US$ 6.99 per user for up to three devices plus 200GB of storage. The other multidevice option costs US$ 12.99 for up to three devices and 2TB of storage. All the plans mentioned are monthly fees per user and Apple intends to add more options with AppleCare+.

Apple Support will only be available on plans with AppleCare+ For Business Essentials. With these options businesses will be able to access onsite repairs from Apple technicians within 4 hours or at any Apple Authorized Service Provider; training for staff (employees and IT administrators) and about two device repairs per plan each year.
