The charger is expected to have two USB-C ports placed side-by-side and grips around the side to hold firm when being removed from a power outlet. Apple’s 35W Dual USB-C charger will be suitable for charging devices across its product range including the M1-Powered MacBook Air and HomePod mini speaker. It can power two products at a go and delivers a total of 35W in the following modes: 5VDC/3A, 9VDC/3A, 15VDC/2.33A, or 20VDC/1.75A. There are correlations between this charger and the one Apple analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo suggested would be manufactured using the efficient gallium nitride (GaN) technology and would arrive sometime in 2022. Fingers crossed on the release of this charger (or power adapter).
