According to the changelog, iOS 14.6 and iPadOS 14.6 delivers the new Podcasts subscriptions and support for Apple Card Family. The former serves as a medium for creators to charge for channels, shows and exclusive content on the Podcasts app while latter will allow users within the same family sharing group to share the same Apple Card, track expenses, and manage spending habits within the Apple Wallet app.

The update also comes with the option to add an email address instead of a phone number when the AirTag is put into Lost Mode option. The tracker will also show a partially hidden phone number when it is scanned with an NFC-enabled device. Finally, there are several bug fixes and the update lays the framework for Apple Music’s upcoming features: Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos and Lossless Music. These features are expected to arrive sometime in June.
